Hearty Bacon & Egg Camping Sandwich

Introduction

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 4 slices of smoked back bacon

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 brioche or crusty bread rolls

  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese

  • Butter or oil for frying

  • Optional: ketchup, mustard, or brown sauce

Instructions

Start by heating a pan over medium heat with a little butter or oil. Fry the bacon until it’s crispy on the edges and golden brown. Set it aside and keep it warm.

In the same pan, crack in the eggs and cook sunny-side-up or to your preferred style. Lightly toast the bread rolls in the pan or over a grill.

Assemble your sandwich by layering the bacon, egg, and cheese between the toasted rolls. Add sauce if desired.
