It’s fair to say the last few weeks have been… lively. Our engine decided to have a little sulk, and when it went poorly, it really went poorly. But we’re not the sort to park up and pout — the Colebrook crew rolled up their sleeves, tore into the heart of the beast, and rebuilt it stronger, sharper, and far more ridiculous than before.

And honestly? We’re a bit in love with it.

With the rebuild now in full swing, we’ve pushed even further into performance territory. Here’s a look at what’s been added since the last build and what kind of numbers we’re expecting when this thing finally hits the road again.

New Engine & Performance Additions

Our latest round of upgrades has taken the project from “wild” to “borderline unhinged,” and we mean that in the best possible way:

Uprated High-Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) for improved delivery under extreme load
Shriek 260 high-lift cams to maximise airflow and power at high RPM
NX Snow Performance multi-port water–methanol injection, fully controlled via Syvecs
A top-secret, one-off custom DQ500 gearbox with bespoke gear ratios
Stage 3 DSG clutch pack rated to a staggering 1400 Nm
Porsche 4-pot rear brake conversion to make sure we can actually stop this rocket
