From Work Van to Dream Camper: Stunning Vauxhall Movano Campervan Conversion

At Colebrook CSC Transporters, we take vans from workhorses to weekend escapes. Our latest Vauxhall Movano camper conversion shows just how far a van can go.

This project started with a simple Movano. A no-nonsense work van. We transformed it into a fully off-grid campervan designed for travel, comfort, and self-sufficiency.

Custom Fabrication, Built In-House

We hand-built several features for this van. The spare wheel carrier and awning brackets were both custom-made by our team. These pair perfectly with a Rhino roof rack, which we cut precisely around the MaxxFan. The result is clean, seamless, and strong.

Smart Interior Layout

Inside, the layout is built for space and function. A raised six-by-four bed sits at the rear, with a large garage-style storage area underneath. The bedroom includes solid bamboo dividers. These offer a natural, stylish finish while keeping the space cosy.

There’s seating for four, plus pull-out tables that convert into a small double bed. It’s a clever use of space, perfect for trips with friends or family.

Country-Style Kitchen

The kitchen is L-shaped and inspired by rustic, country charm. It includes a solid bamboo worktop and a recessed sink with bamboo infill. There’s also a double gas hob and a large 85-litre fridge. It’s perfect for cooking on the road.

You’ll also find plenty of storage. We’ve added overhead lockers and extra built-in compartments to keep everything organised.

Quality Interior Finishes

We’ve used premium materials throughout the build. The walls mix carpet-lined metalwork and laminate panels. A bamboo slatted ceiling gives the space a warm, cabin feel. For flooring, we chose oak-effect Altro. It’s hard-wearing and attractive.

Ready for Off-Grid Travel

This van is fully off-grid capable. It includes a 3000W inverter/charger, dual 100Ah batteries, and a 300W solar system. There’s also a 100-litre onboard water tank with an external shower. Whether you’re off for a weekend or a month, this van is ready.

Available as a Conversion Package

We now offer this layout as one of our large van conversion options. It fits models like the Vauxhall Movano, Renault Master, Peugeot Boxer, Fiat Ducato, and Citroën Relay. Packages start from £24,995 including VAT.
